As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing budget forecasts, and publishing financial statements in a timely manner.

Additional responsibilities include handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely bank payments. You will also be responsible for computing taxes and preparing tax returns, managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, and reporting on the company's financial health and liquidity.

In terms of administration, you will ensure weekly payroll and compliance are completed in a timely manner. This involves accurately inputting and managing payroll data, providing comprehensive support to subcontractors on payroll-related matters, preparing and issuing statements of earnings, and managing new registrations and leavers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, combining accounting and payroll administration duties. They will also hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong proficiency in Excel, report writing, and financial management systems is also essential.

Other important qualifications include problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and analytics, outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, and a good understanding of GAAP or IFRS. Experience with UK corporation tax, VAT, and self-assessment is a plus but not required.
