We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

  • You will lead the development of cloud software applications and collaborate closely with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, CLM, and Strategy to deliver the highest quality products.
  • You will enforce agile practices like test-driven development, CI & test automation and work collaboratively with offshore teams for architectural and delivery issues.
  • You will cultivate technical backlogs and prioritize between immediate and future needs, analyzing and remedying production issues, building in fault tolerance and operational readiness into the system architecture.
  • You will own non-functional requirements, architectural direction, quality of code, and addressing technical debt, while focusing on team health and instilling a strong culture of engineering excellence.
  • You will hire A-players to build high-performing teams, constantly raising the bar of engineering talent and identify areas for growth and personal development, providing a growth path uniquely catered towards each team member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design cloud software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Enforce agile practices and ensure smooth collaboration with offshore teams.
  • Cultivate technical backlog and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analyze and resolve production issues, ensuring fault tolerance and operational readiness.
  • Owning non-functional requirements, technical debt, and code quality.
  • Foster a strong culture of engineering excellence and mentor team members.
  • Hire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Promote personal and professional growth within the team.

Requirements:

">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • 10+ years of server/client-side software development experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years in a Management Role.
  • Experience in leading teams, performance management, and people management.
  • In-depth understanding of free and open-source software development.
  • Strong understanding of scalability and high availability systems.
  • Experience in operations and managing live production applications.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful service design, API design, and distributed systems.
