We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as PhD Studentship and Research Assistant in the Department of Environmental Sciences.

Job Description:

The successful candidates will be involved in research opportunities focused on environmental sciences, with a specific project titled "Rice residue is a boon not bane, don't burn, reuse it: Evaluation, and demonstration of alternative rice residue management practices to persuade farming community for mitigating smog and ensuring sustainable food production."

This position involves working closely with our team to conduct research in soil biogeochemistry, nutrient cycling, soil organic carbon dynamics, soil health, and crop management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting research in environmental sciences
  • Developing and implementing alternative rice residue management practices
  • Evaluating the impact of these practices on smog mitigation and sustainable food production
Requirements:

To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must possess strong knowledge of soil biogeochemistry, nutrient cycling, soil organic carbon dynamics, soil health, and crop management practices. Additionally, they should have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Master's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
  • PhD students enrolled in the Department of Environmental Sciences are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong knowledge of soil biogeochemistry, nutrient cycling, soil organic carbon dynamics, soil health, and crop management practices
