Job Title: Job Opportunity for a Research Fellow
Position Overview:We are inviting applications from Pakistani Nationals who are not married to a foreign national for two temporary Research Fellow positions in the Department of Environmental Sciences. These positions are part of the ILSI RESEARCH FOUNDATION project No. BRPGP010-13.
About the Project:
The project aims to investigate the impact of rhizodeposition and incorporation of residues from Bt-cotton on soil ecosystem processes of carbon & nitrogen cycling. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator to achieve the project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field and laboratory experiments
- Analyze data and prepare reports
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives
Requirements:
- M.Sc/M.Phil in Environmental or related sciences/engineering
- Experience in biogeochemical analyses, greenhouse studies, plant physiological analyses, and report writing
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in these areas
What We Offer:
- Honorarium: Rs. 10,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Project Duration: 12 months
- Terms: Positions are temporary; incumbents must sign a bond for the project duration
