We are seeking a skilled Sales Development Specialist to drive sales growth by identifying customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and building long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify new business opportunities within the target industry, utilizing market research and industry trends.
  2. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions, leveraging product knowledge and engineering expertise.
  3. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business, fostering a culture of excellent service.
  5. Collaborate with the technical team to provide accurate information and support to clients, ensuring seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
  6. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  7. Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations, effectively communicating value and securing deals.
  8. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, providing insights into market trends and sales performance.
  9. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events as required, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in business principles and technical skills.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel, with the ability to analyze data and create visually appealing presentations.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and build rapport with clients.
  4. Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications, ensuring accurate and effective communication with stakeholders.
  5. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently, with a strong desire to succeed and contribute to the company's growth.
  6. Willingness to travel as required, with a flexible attitude and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools, with the ability to leverage technology to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Prior experience in Light Engineering technical sales, with a deep understanding of industry trends and client needs.
  3. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities, with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
