Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through systematic testing and validation processes. This involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software performance.

The SQA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases, as well as performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Additionally, they will review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an SQA Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
