Job Title: Product Development Specialist

">About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving product growth through strategic planning and execution.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of new features and delivering user stories for engineering teams
  • Create market requirement documents (MRDs) and product requirement documents (PRDs) for our products
  • Analyze, design, and document product features with attention to detail and ownership
  • Evaluate our products against competitors and market trends to inform business decisions
  • Prioritize features with leadership and maintain the product backlog
  • Transform business requirements into user stories and mockups, assisting in critical design decisions
  • Support the quality assurance (QA) team in developing test scenarios and cases
  • Perform internal user acceptance testing (UAT) and report any anomalies
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap
  • Conduct competitor analysis and assess market impact to inform strategic decisions
Essential Skills
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical skills to analyze data and drive business insights
  • Technical background in web & responsive web applications to understand product development lifecycle
  • Attention to detail and ownership to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Experience with agile methodologies to drive iterative product development
  • Proficiency in wireframes, flow diagrams, and requirements documentation to articulate technical and business value propositions
  • Experience as a business or systems analyst to bridge business and technical domains
Preferred Skills
  • Programming experience and SQL skills to drive data-driven decision-making
  • Basic AI/ML concepts to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to inform infrastructure decisions
  • Understanding of media formats and streaming technologies to drive video content strategy
  • Experience with B2B products to leverage business expertise
  • Leadership and team management skills to lead cross-functional teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  • Experience in business/system analysis is a plus to drive business acumen
