Senior Go Developer Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Go Engineer with over 10 years of software development experience specializing in Go (Golang).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration and Architecture: Collaborate to define system architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Optimization and Scalability: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, addressing performance bottlenecks.
  • Coding Standards: Write clean, maintainable code adhering to industry standards.
  • Microservices and APIs: Lead the design and implementation of microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Technology Advancements: Stay up-to-date with Go advancements and integrate new tools into development practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years focused on Go (Golang).
  • Concurrency and Multithreading: Strong understanding of Go's concurrency model and multithreading.
  • Distributed Systems: Experience building large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Platforms: Cloud platforms experience for scalable infrastructure.
  • Databases: Knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
