Job Title: Account Manager – Car Sharing Business

Our clients' car sharing business is centered around transitioning from car ownership to car usage, reducing the overall number of cars in cities and aiding organisations in reducing their environmental impact.

To achieve this ambition, our clients offer individuals and businesses on-street cars in major European capitals, as well as working with businesses to provide dedicated fleets of shared vehicles.

We require an experienced and commercially astute professional to help accelerate the growth of our car sharing business across the UK.

In this role, you will be supporting the Development Director to manage a portfolio of clients across the UK, providing high-quality account management in order to maintain and grow revenue and ensure long-term success.

You will coordinate input from Operations, Technology, Customer Service, and Marketing teams to ensure clients are supported and issues are promptly resolved.

Maintaining positive working relationships with clients is essential in enabling contracts to be renewed and negotiations to be concluded efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with client contacts to gain a greater understanding of their business objectives.
  • Liaising with colleagues from Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to coordinate scheme launches and ensure a high level of service to clients.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow schemes, developing proposals, and contributing to tenders to respond to client needs while supporting the Company's commercial objectives.
  • Providing regular reports on service performance, including vehicle utilisation and operation, using various data sources to provide appropriate insight and analysis.
  • Continuously exploring and promoting the most efficient and effective working processes, working closely with the Development Director to influence behavioural changes and improve profitability, customer service, and demonstrate continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate Salesforce records and any sales tools, feeding back through clear concise reporting.
  • Providing ad hoc support to colleagues across the group.
Key Skills:
  • Ability to provide a first-class service for public and private sector clients.
  • Ability to manage your own schedule and workload, taking ownership of assignments.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues at different levels with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and communicate those conclusions to clients in non-technical language.
  • Broad understanding of car sharing (car clubs and pool car schemes) and the technology that underpins its operation.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to negotiate to support the Company's strategy.
  • Interest in transport, mobility, technology, and/or city planning issues.
  • Experience in a transport, mobility, or technology environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to learn and take on board feedback.
  • Possess a full, clean driving licence.
