Accounting Office Associate

This role provides essential support to the accounting department by performing daily financial and clerical tasks. It ensures accurate processing of transactions, maintains organized records, assists with reconciliations, and helps keep the office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Perform data entry and update financial spreadsheets and databases.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
  • Support internal and external audits by organizing and retrieving necessary documents.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents and correspondence.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting or clerical experience are preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and office procedures is necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software are required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
  • Good organizational and time management skills are necessary.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with integrity is required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
