The role of Assistant Manager Reporting is a senior position that involves managing the Management Information System (MIS) relating to sales function. The incumbent will provide accurate, informative and accessible data analysis to the management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitating timely delivery of Sales related IT projects by working in close coordination with the IT department/vendors
  • Designing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are relevant to the effective measurement of Sales
  • Controlling Master Data Management to create synergies across the Sales Organization
  • Managing the centralization of master data for all distributors across Pakistan
  • Controlling of master data to facilitate the management of KPIs
  • Ensuring system integrity, especially for product and customer to minimize discrepancies
  • Developing a system to centralize the master data for effective use
  • Effectively managing resources to help the sales team achieve its objectives
  • Liaising with third-party providers for secondary sales data support
  • Developing and reviewing Policies/SOPs to effectively support the sales function
  • Identifying gaps in the current system and proposing an action plan
  • Developing, recommending, implementing and controlling policies/SOPs
  • Conducting training sessions to roll out policies/SOPs for all relevant stakeholders
  • Establishing a Sales MIS foundation and developing an information-based decision-making culture across the business for all categories
  • Ensuring the system is utilized to its fullest potential and partnering cross-functionally to develop reports and KPIs that provide timely business insights
  • Approving and overseeing all reports required from the MIS department
  • Developing and implementing standardized MIS procedures across all business applications
  • Analyzing, reporting on, and making recommendations for improving business reports within the organization
  • Managing MIS staffing, including recruitment, supervision, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions

This role requires strong analytical, business orientation, communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal, financial planning & forecasting, negotiation, problem-solving, and product knowledge skills.
