Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Resident Medical Officer to join our team in the Department of Surgery. As a Resident Medical Officer, you will be responsible for performing regular duties and on calls, conducting rounds with Consultants, and ensuring patients receive correct post-operative medications and instructions.

The successful candidate will have an MBBS from an institution recognized by PMDC, FCPS part I in General Surgery, and one year internship with six months in Surgery and allied and six months in Medicine and allied disciplines.

You should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to remain updated on infection control procedures.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform regular duties and on calls and conduct rounds with Consultants in the assigned ward
  2. Do pre-operative assessment and complete required paperwork
  3. Coordinate with primary teams as required for continuity of care
  4. Display effective documentation with quality record keeping of clinical notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries
  5. Exhibit procedural skills in assistance and/or independently displaying the prudence and precaution that avoids potential complications
  6. Ensure that patients are given correct post-operative medications/instructions and explain them about their health care needs
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:
