Life Sciences Sales Leadership Opportunity

The Performance Development Group is a global leader in improving business results for Life Sciences companies through brand performance and sales performance solutions.

This role will require remote work with travel to client sites, industry conferences, and meetings as needed. You will lead new client acquisition and revenue generation in the life sciences industry, establishing client identification and penetration strategies and integrating with senior sales leaders within clients.

The ideal candidate will gain access to key decision-makers and develop long-term business relationships within each account. You will work closely with PDG's leadership team and solutions organization to support you at every step of the sales process.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and fostering relationships with clients at all levels
  • Consulting with clients regarding sales performance in the life sciences industry
  • Developing strategic account plans for each account
  • Crafting and delivering business proposals that effectively position the value of PDG's solution to achieve client goals
  • Determining pricing for each opportunity based on profitability guidelines and client financial situation
  • Managing and driving the sales process from lead generation through contract execution

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • 10+ years of commercial life sciences consulting experience, ideally supporting brand performance, launch excellence, customer engagement and cultural transformation initiatives
  • High level of business acumen including understanding of metrics of business performance
  • Deep experience interacting with C-Level business officers
  • National sales and commercial leadership experience within Life Sciences organizations highly preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, HubSpot preferred
