Social Media Specialist Role

We are seeking a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy: Conduct competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification to build a comprehensive social media strategy.
  • Create Engaging Content: Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Optimize Company Presence: Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content.
  • Moderate User-Generated Content: Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
  • Analyze and Improve: Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Social Media Marketing: Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Social Networking Experience: Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools.
  • Web Development Knowledge: Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
  • Online Marketing Knowledge: Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Positive Attitude: Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
  • Educational Background: BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations.
