We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our engineering organization as a Backend Developer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and building high-performance systems that drive our platform's growth.

As a key member of our team, your expertise in backend technologies, distributed systems, and cloud platforms will help shape the future of our company. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the direction of our technical architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and document scalable solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Write secure, maintainable code that powers our platform, providing real-time visibility into our assets.
  • Build and implement scalable design choices for API interfaces to work seamlessly across internal and external applications and services.
  • Implement effective monitoring, logging, and debugging mechanisms to ensure the health and stability of our system.
  • Work closely with our AWS cloud infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Mentor and learn from other developers within our organization, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 4 years of software development experience.
  • A passion for creating software that is extensible, performant, and easy to read.
  • Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems, and data models.
  • Familiarity with languages such as Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, preferably Postgres or MySQL.
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or private clouds.
