Mobile Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced mobile application developer with a strong background in Android SDK and various versions of Android. This role involves designing user-friendly applications that incorporate natural interfaces, such as touch screens.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Android Compose UI framework and be able to develop high-quality mobile applications.
  • They will also be responsible for implementing offline storage, threading, and performance tuning techniques.

Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and code versioning tools like Git is beneficial. Proficient understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines is required. The successful candidate will have expertise in dependency frameworks such as Hilt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design applications that utilize natural user interfaces, such as touch screens.
  • Develop mobile applications using the Android Compose UI framework.
  • Implement offline storage, threading, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Utilize RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Employ MVVM architecture and live data best practices.

A strong understanding of Android UI design principles and patterns, experience with performance optimization and benchmarking, knowledge of open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks are essential requirements for this role. Additionally, the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements is crucial.
