Job Title: Accounts Officer

Our organization is seeking a skilled accounting professional to play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Stay updated with income tax and sales tax regulations to ensure all financial activities comply with current laws and filing requirements.
  • Utilize QuickBooks ERP for accurate posting of financial entries and maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial procedures and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into financial transactions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of professional accounting experience preferably within the fintech or technology sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks ERP and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of income tax and sales tax regulations in Pakistan.
