Job Title: IT Support Specialist

A skilled and experienced IT Administrator is sought to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure.


Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in network and systems administration, including hands-on experience with firewalls, complex network environments, and Microsoft technologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration: Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and wireless systems.
  • Security Systems: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls and other security systems.
  • Windows Server Environments: Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange.
  • System Performance: Ensure system performance, availability, and security across all platforms.
  • Incident Response: Monitor and respond to system alerts and incidents during shift hours.
  • Disaster Recovery: Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT staff to support users and resolve technical issues.
  • Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as an IT administrator or similar role.
  • Networking Knowledge: Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall management, and network security.
  • Microsoft Environments: Proficiency in Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, etc.).
  • Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently during night shifts.
  • Skillset: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, MCSE) are preferred.
