IT Strategy and Planning Role

Maintaining a robust IT strategy is crucial for organizational success. As an IT Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing information technology plans that align with business goals.

The successful candidate will accomplish staff results by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance. This role involves maintaining a safe and secure work environment and developing personal growth opportunities for staff.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing information technologies to enhance organization effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Coordinate resources and timetables with user departments and the data center to complete projects.
  • Verify application results by conducting system audits of implemented technologies.
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures, as well as information security and control structures.

This role requires a strong understanding of organizational outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating requirements. The IT Strategist will recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes.

Accomplishing financial objectives is also a key responsibility, including forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, and analyzing variances.

The IT Strategist will contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
