Ecommerce Store Specialist

Job Description:
  • Ecommerce Strategy and Planning

A key aspect of this role is developing strategies to boost online sales, customer engagement, and brand visibility by analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competition. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures ecommerce goals align with business objectives.

  • Ecommerce Platform Management

Responsibilities include overseeing daily website operations, guaranteeing user-friendliness, functionality, and up-dateness through regular updates and content reviews. Managing product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing optimizes product visibility and conversions.

  • User Experience Optimization

This involves enhancing user experience by improving site navigation, search functionality, and checkout processes to reduce friction and increase conversions. Implementing best practices for mobile responsiveness, page load speed, and overall website performance ensures a smooth and engaging customer journey.

  • Inventory Management

Coordinate with inventory management teams to ensure accurate product availability and stock levels. Strategies are developed to minimize stockouts and optimize inventory turnover, reducing waste and increasing efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing ecommerce platforms
  • Strong understanding of online consumer behavior, ecommerce best practices, and digital marketing strategies
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (WooCommerce) and web content management systems
  • Familiarity with SEO, web analytics tools, and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills

Skill Levels Required:

*Intermediate level knowledge of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and web development*

Certifications:

*Certified Ecommerce Specialist (CES)

Qualifying Coursework:
