Business Operations Specialist

As a Business Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless warehouse processes from inbound management to stock handling, storing, and order dispatching on time. This involves coordinating end-to-end warehouse operations to meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will proactively recommend and implement operational goals, objectives, and process improvements to drive efficiency.

  • Manage the 24-hour operational Darkstore, overseeing warehouse processes and streamlining logistics.
  • Coordinate warehouse operations to meet service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures are followed, performing periodic safety & health risk assessments. You will allocate resources for optimal efficiency, scheduling, and liaising with the commercial department to manage inventory effectively. Maintaining accurate records of stock takes is also crucial, ensuring physical and system stock variation targets are within acceptable limits.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in business administration or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in operations management, management trainees welcome to apply.
  • In-depth knowledge of operations management, supply chain, customer service, JIT, Six Sigma, and industry legislation.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment tools.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
