Software Engineering Expert

As a seasoned Software Engineering Expert, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining WordPress websites.

This involves personalizing existing themes, developing custom plugins, and implementing new functionality as needed to ensure seamless performance and optimal user experience.

  • Meet with clients to discuss website design and requirements
  • Design and build the website front-end, leveraging expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript
  • Develop the website architecture, incorporating databases like MySQL and optimizing server integration for high-performance
  • Design and manage the website back-end, including database and server configuration for streamlined operations
  • Generate WordPress themes and plugins, adhering to best coding practices and industry standards
  • Conduct thorough website performance tests, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
  • Troubleshoot content issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime
  • Conduct comprehensive WordPress training sessions with clients, empowering them to effectively utilize the platform
  • Monitor the performance of live websites, making data-driven decisions to optimize their efficiency and user experience
  • Liaise with stakeholders, fostering open communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals
  • Gather detailed requirements to create custom WordPress plugins, ensuring they meet specific needs and expectations
  • Assist front-end developers in designing and building visually appealing and functional interfaces
  • Ensure the WordPress platform instance is optimized for high-performance, meeting demanding standards and expectations
  • Troubleshoot bugs and issues efficiently, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise
  • Develop and customize plugins, following industry best practices and rigorous testing protocols
  • Complete PHP customization, integrating seamlessly with WordPress and other frameworks
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering from a reputable institution
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with WordPress projects, showcasing expertise and adaptability
Technical Skills
  • Coding skills in languages like PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
  • Strong knowledge of common web vulnerabilities and exploits, along with solutions and mitigations
  • In-depth understanding of WordPress & WooCommerce architecture, including plugin development and customization
  • Knowledge of configuring and customizing themes, plugins, and templates, ensuring seamless integration and optimization
  • Proficient understanding of RESTful APIs and formats, including JSON and XML
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills, coupled with adaptability and a willingness to learn
