Technical Project Manager

About the Role:

A successful Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project planning and execution, ensuring timely completion of initiatives within established specifications. They serve as a lead subject matter expert regarding technology concerns.

This role involves strategic thinking, effective communication, and strong leadership skills to drive project success. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects from initiation to delivery, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
  • Communicate proactively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure project goals are met.
  • Analyze project data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
  • Minimum 6-12 years of experience in software development, with at least 3-4 years in a project management capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in software development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in the technology department.
  • Ability to work in an offshore software development environment.
