Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (PHP Laravel / .NET)

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: 5+ Years

Salary Package: 250k+

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers across PHP Laravel and .NET stacks. Ensure coding standards, design patterns, and best practices are followed.
  • Hands-On Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in PHP (Laravel) and/or .NET as needed.
  • DevOps & Server Management: Configure, manage, and maintain Linux/Windows servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS), perform deployments, and handle server performance and security.
  • Deployment Management : Set up CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.
  • GIT & Version Control : Expertly manage repositories, branching strategies, submodules/subtrees, and code review workflows using Git.
  • System Architecture: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to design scalable and secure systems.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in web development using PHP (Laravel) and/or .NET frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of server-side scripting, database architecture (MySQL, MSSQL), and REST APIs.
  • Proficiency in managing Git repositories including submodules.
  • Experience with server setup, deployment automation, and system monitoring.
  • Familiarity with containerisation tools (Docker, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
