The Sales Development role at our company plays a crucial part in driving sales of services and solutions to clients.

This position involves identifying potential sales opportunities, engaging with clients to understand their needs, and offering tailored services that meet those needs.

It requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively negotiate and close deals.

  • Key responsibilities include enlisting & engaging customers for sales events, coordinating event organization with vendors, sending invitation letters, scheduling appointments, performing administrative tasks, and providing general support to the sales team.
  • Additionally, the role involves identifying potential client pain points and assisting in resolving them with Account Managers, preparing sales presentations and proposals, participating in sales meetings, bid meetings, and follow-up activities, reviewing RFP/tender documents to understand client requirements and expectations, creating business proposals, conducting thorough reviews of proposals to identify and address potential issues, developing and maintaining an RFP response process, and managing and updating lead databases effectively.

Key Skills:

The successful candidate will have an understanding of the IT services and solutions landscape, be able to clearly articulate service benefits to clients and negotiate effectively, have comfort with IT concepts and the ability to quickly learn about new products or services, and be capable of handling multiple clients and projects without missing a beat.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates will require a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field, proven experience in sales, especially within the IT or technology sector, minimum 1-2 years of proven experience, proficiency in CRM software, interpersonal and networking skills, strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
