Manual Tester Role

The position entails thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing processes, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

  • This involves developing, documenting, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • It also includes identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and ensuring they are resolved.
  • Collaboration with software developers and project teams is necessary to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • In addition, conducting regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new updates is crucial.
  • The role requires ensuring the software meets functional, performance, usability, and security requirements.
  • Comprehensive test result documentation and reporting to stakeholders is also essential.
  • Working closely with the development team to perform root cause analysis of identified issues is key.

This position is a full-time, on-site role requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester is required.
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes is necessary.
  • Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment are required.
  • Solid skills in documenting test cases, defect reports, and overall testing activities are necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail are required.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is beneficial.
  • Understanding of web and mobile application architecture and technology is essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is required.
