Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our operations at Changi Airport. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, optimizing team performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive walk-up sales and ATM revenues through effective team management and coaching
  • Collaborate with leaders to enhance customer service levels across all stores
  • Support people management functions including performance-based rostering, annual leave management, retention, recruitment, and performance management
  • Oversee product launches and promotions to drive sales growth
  • Manage inventory and margins across the airport to ensure operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and coach staff on operating disciplines
  • Foster open communication among site staff and management
  • Negotiate local relationships (landlords, airports etc) for day-to-day operational account management
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the financial services industry, preferably in foreign exchange or retail, with at least 2 years' experience in a leadership position
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of effectively managing and motivating high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of inventory management and financial acumen to drive business results
  • A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Willingness to undergo required training and develop skills continuously
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
