**Job Title:** Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

 

Overview of the Position

We are seeking a skilled Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and execute exploratory tests to ensure product quality. This role is vital in our development process, as it involves conducting thorough testing before product launches to guarantee software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and remains cost-effective.

 

  • Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

 

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will:

  1. Review system requirements and provide timely feedback.
  2. Create detailed test plans and cases, ensuring all aspects are well-structured.
  3. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities effectively.
  4. Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
  5. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

 

Requirements and Preferences

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience with performance and security testing.
