We are looking for two highly motivated and talented researchers to contribute to the development of innovative bioproducts from Spirulina.
About the Positions:Two researcher positions are available in the Department of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology.
Responsibilities:Conduct research on upscaling the cost-effective cultivation of indigenous Spirulina for biotech applications
Develop and implement new methods for improving Spirulina cultivation
Analyze data and results from the project
MS/MPhil Biotechnology, freshly graduated PhD, experience in large-scale algae cultivation & bioprocessing of algae biomass to bioproducts (animal feed additive, nutraceuticals) preferred
Benefits:PRK 80,000.00 per month (for PhD studentship) and PRK 130,000.00 per month (for research associate), extendable to another year after satisfactory performance
