Senior Software Consultant Role

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly skilled and experienced software consultant who has expertise in modern frontend technologies and solid backend experience. The successful individual will be responsible for defining and implementing backend API contracts, ensuring scalable and modular application development.

  • This role involves collaborating with the front-end UI team to ensure seamless integration of backend systems and applications.
  • Candidates with a strong understanding of microservice architectures, cloud infrastructure, and data structures/algorithms will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical reviews and ensure that high-quality standards are met across projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align technology with business needs.
  • Actively mentor and guide engineers at all levels, promoting a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Embrace a consulting mindset by identifying opportunities to improve business processes through innovative technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous learning of industry trends, tools, and technologies to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in full-stack development, solution design, and cloud-based architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable applications using Angular (latest versions).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Solid understanding of RxJS, state management libraries like NgRx or Akita, and responsive design principles (Flexbox, CSS Grid, mobile-first).
  • Experience with Java with Spring Boot (preferred); experience with C/C++, Python, or Go is a plus.
  • Good understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Kubernetes (K8s).
