Warehouse and Inventory Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse and Inventory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inventory Management: Update all inventory on a daily basis across the warehouse on ERP, Excel, and QuickBooks.
  2. Coordination with Warehouse Managers: Coordinate with warehouse managers to maintain records of all inwards and outwards.
  3. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  4. Link between Operations and Accounting Teams: Serve as a link between Operations and Accounting teams.
  5. Timely Accounting Entries: Ensure timely accounting entries and bookkeeping of all transactions through the accounts team.
  6. Optimization of Delivery Vehicles: Optimize the use of delivery vehicles for timely dispatch and consolidation of all orders.
  7. Weekly Physical Inventory: Conduct weekly physical inventory of warehouses.
  8. Accurate Inventory Sheets: Maintain accurate logs of inventory sheets.
  9. Physical and Entered Stock Reconciliation: Reconcile physical and entered stock on a weekly basis, providing timely reports on any discrepancies.
  10. Storage Conditions: Ensure optimal storage conditions for all stock in the warehouse.
  11. Total Supply Chain Costs: Calculate total supply chain costs accurately in relation to proposed new projects.
  12. Transportation Quotes: Procure quotes for transportation and make cost comparisons.
  13. Warehouse, Logistics Operations, Procurement, and Inventory Levels Planning: Plan and strategize warehouse, logistics operations, procurement, and inventory levels.
  14. SOPs for Warehouse Operations: Develop SOPs for warehouse operations.
  15. Regular Stock Cycle Counts and Inventory Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock cycle counts and inventory reconciliation in management application ERP.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this role.
