Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at HRSG Outsourcing Pvt Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to end-users, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide First and Second-Level Support: Offer expert assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  2. Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Employ effective problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
  3. Document and Track Issues: Use a ticketing system to record and manage user issues efficiently.
  4. Maintain IT Infrastructure: Ensure the smooth operation of our networks, cloud computing systems, and other IT assets.
  5. Perform Physical Installations: Install replacement network devices, including Wireless Access Points (WAPs), Gateway Controllers, Switches, and Firewalls.
  6. Patch Network Connections: Utilize copper and fiber optic cables to establish connections between devices and patch panels.
  7. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.
  8. Ensure Compliance: Ensure that our IT infrastructure meets relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

User Training and Documentation:

  1. Develop Training Sessions: Create and deliver training sessions for end-users on various IT systems and applications.
  2. Create User Manuals: Develop and maintain user manuals, FAQs, and other support documentation.
  3. Participate in IT Projects: Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Provide Excellent Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with end-users.
  5. Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical support and IT infrastructure management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are preferred.
  • Experience in supporting MS Office 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in dealing with third-party provided services.
  • In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery.
  • Familiar with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
