Job Title: Costing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough costing of pharmaceutical products to ensure accurate pricing.
  2. Analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities to optimize operations.
  3. Design and implement cost-effective data accumulation systems to provide timely and relevant costing information to management.
  4. Post data in QuickBooks and Oracle Based Customized Software for seamless tracking.
  5. Verify purchase orders for accuracy and compliance.
  6. C-coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
  7. Review standard and actual costs for discrepancies and inaccuracies.
  8. Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close process.
  9. Continuously analyze process constraints to identify areas for improvement.
  10. Generate reports on break-even points by products, work centers, and factories.
  11. Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing on spending variances.
  12. Introduce cost reduction measures to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Specifications:

Requirements:

  1. ACMA / ACCA / CIMA (Partly qualified with relevant experience).
  2. Proficiency in MS-Office and computerized accounting packages, especially Oracle.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  4. In-depth knowledge of accounting and statutory requirements.
  5. Familiarity with laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules.
  6. Strong understanding of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
