Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Manager

The primary role of this position is to oversee the implementation and maintenance of environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential environmental impacts associated with organizational activities.
  • Collaborating with relevant departments to develop and implement strategies mitigating these risks.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to establish measurable environmental objectives and targets.
  • Monitoring progress toward achieving environmental goals and facilitating necessary adjustments.
  • Remaining informed about pertinent environmental laws and regulations affecting the organization.
  • Ensuring adherence to environmental permits, licenses, and reporting requirements.
  • Providing comprehensive training to employees on environmental policies, procedures, and their roles in achieving environmental objectives.
  • Promoting awareness of environmental responsibilities and sustainable practices throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Environmental Management is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing and managing environmental management systems within an ISO 14001 framework.
