We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Balance Sheet Velocity delivery team towards excellence. As a Senior Associate Director, Tech SME, you will be responsible for delivering business priorities while focusing on cost savings, process standardisation, and supporting a global IT solution that benefits customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Solution Design and Implementation: Provide expertise on technology solution design and implementation to meet CLS technology function needs on a tactical and strategic basis, covering significant regulatory and business transformation initiatives.
  2. Global Roll-out and Benefits Delivery: Work closely with the business to ensure the delivery of benefits outlined in the business case via global roll-out, leveraging system functions.
  3. Consultancy Advice and Product Knowledge: Offer consultancy advice as a trusted partner to global and regional stakeholders within the business and other IT teams on how to use product features and functions efficiently.
  4. Process Improvement and Governance: Introduce new practices, processes, techniques, products, services, technologies, and standards where needed against identified use cases, via appropriate governance bodies.
  5. Trust-Based Management Culture: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Monitoring and BSV SVS Technology lead in creating a trust-based management culture with effective global communication.
  6. Compliance and Risk Evaluation: Evaluate compliance of products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework, and architecture function implementation of business imperatives.
  7. Collaboration and Community Engagement: Collaborate with the wider CLS and CIB IT communities of practice to maximise automation, increase efficiency, and adopt best practices, latest tools, techniques, and processes.
  8. Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop the overall product strategy, providing vision and roadmap for the product suite to drive straight-through processing and reduce operational costs.
  9. Technical Leadership and Code Standards: Contribute to product and project strategy, code standards, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering with technical leaders and product owners.
