Job Overview

Manage the finance cluster, deliver key initiatives, and oversee projects that influence top management decisions, regulatory reporting, reputational issues, and operational losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and manage technology deliverables to business.
  • Manage internal/external audits and ensure satisfactory ratings.
  • Support unit head in annual financial planning (CAPEX/OPEX).
  • Keep track of maintenance contracts and ensure timely renewal.
  • Lead a team responsible for changes to 10+ business intelligence applications.
  • Manage over 10 projects valued at AED 10M+, impacting critical systems like central bank reporting and customer profitability.
  • Staff Development: Up skill and mentor team members, fostering growth and aligning capabilities with organizational goals.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with established processes, driving consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Implement lean practices effectively.
Leadership & Management
  • Responsible for managing the unit and developing team effectively.
  • Deliver projects within agreed time and budget with minimal risk.
  • Ensure all change initiatives have approval from relevant stakeholders.
  • Optimize resources, employee retention, backups, and engagement planning.
  • Focus on regulatory, control, and audit requirements, and manage known risks.
Problem Solving and Solution Architecture
  • Provide cost-effective, business-friendly, and quality technology solutions ensuring scalability and stability.
  • Utilize existing applications to provide innovative approaches to business problems.
