Sales Manager is a vital role in driving business growth and success. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing sales engineers, developing product marketing channels, and achieving product specifications with consultants and contractors.
This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, market analysis, and strategic thinking. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, manage vendor relationships, and analyze financial performance.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to translate big picture goals into actionable implementation plans.
About This Job
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Engineering/Technical procurement with a specialization in marketing.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales engineer teams and train staff.
- Develop product marketing channels with retail and project partners.
- Achieve product specifications with consultants and contractors.
- Monitor market requirements and competitor situations and provide feedback.
- Forecast sales based on market analysis.
- Grow sales and profitability by prioritizing new customers.
- Maintain division profitability and efficiency by optimizing resource utilization.
- Analyze customer issues for identifying trends and implement mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain healthy and professional business relationships with customers.
- Ensure timely payment collection.
- Present financial reports and take necessary steps to increase sales.
