About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our financial operations team. The successful candidate will oversee daily operational activities, ensuring high performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of transactional processes, including payments, card issuance, and reconciliations.
  • Monitoring and management of operational workflows to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conducting root cause analysis of operational disruptions and implementing corrective measures.

Process Optimization

  • Analysis of existing workflows to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Collaboration with product management teams to support system enhancements and new features.

Team Leadership

  • Leading, mentoring, and training cross-functional teams focused on digital financial services.
  • Coordination of efforts across departments to resolve operational challenges and meet business goals.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Development and enforcement of operational policies and procedures tailored to digital financial services.
  • Maintenance of a robust framework for data integrity and security.

Relationship Management

  • Management of relationships with financial institutions, card networks, payment processors, and vendors.
  • Negotiation of contracts with vendors to secure cost-effective services and solutions.

Performance Reporting

  • Preparation and presentation of detailed operational performance reports to senior management.
  • Tracking of KPIs and development of strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and workflow optimization specific to fintech and card services.

Technical and Analytical Skills

  • Proficiency in financial software and technology solutions related to financial management tools and card operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex metrics and data.
  • Adept at conducting audits, preparing reports, and implementing corrective actions.

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
