Game Development Expert Wanted

We're looking for an experienced Unity Game Developer to create high-quality games for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Game Engine Management
    • Develop and implement gameplay features from prototype to production using clean, scalable C# code.
    • Take ownership of medium-to-large game systems with minimal oversight.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Work closely with designers, artists, and backend engineers to align on implementation.
    • Collaborate on multiplayer features using frameworks like Photon or Mirror.
  • Optimization and Quality Assurance
    • Optimize performance for mobile platforms including memory, CPU, GPU, and battery usage.
    • Identify and fix bugs, and refactor code to reduce technical debt.
  • Code Review and Architecture
    • Review junior developer code and provide constructive feedback.
    • Follow and contribute to modular code architecture and project structure.
  • Asset Integration and Debugging
    • Integrate assets into scenes while ensuring performance and visual consistency.
    • Use Unity Profiler and debugging tools to monitor and resolve performance issues.

Requirements:

  • Possesses 2-4 years of experience developing games using Unity.
  • Has a solid grasp of the C# programming language.
  • Understands object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Has experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Proven experience in integrating multiplayer features using Unity's networking solutions (e.g., Photon, UNet, Mirror, or custom solutions).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts like client-server architecture, latency management, and data serialization.
  • Experience with implementing robust communication protocols for real-time multiplayer games.
  • Excels at communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Has a burning passion for games and a relentless desire to learn.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in C# and the Unity engine (URP or Built-in).
  • Solid understanding of game architecture patterns (MVC, event-driven systems, scriptable object architecture).
  • Experience with mobile optimization techniques (texture compression, batching, memory profiling).
  • Familiarity with multiplayer frameworks like Photon or Mirror and basic networking principles.
  • Proficient in using Unity Profiler, Memory Profiler, and other performance analysis tools.
  • Comfortable working with Git, handling branching, merges, and pull request workflows.
  • Experience integrating animations, VFX, audio, and UI assets into Unity scenes.
  • Ability to debug, profile, and resolve runtime issues across devices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team.
  • Self-driven with a mindset for clean code, reusability, and continuous improvement.
