Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager who is an expert in accounts, payroll, taxation, expense/payout management and regulations.

  • Coordinate with management for payment approvals and check preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable organisations.

Responsibilities
  1. Excellent bookkeeping skills.
  2. Interact effectively with team members.
  3. Prepare UK VAT returns.
  4. Compile annual financial statements.
  5. Communicate fluently in English (spoken and written).
  6. Assist senior and junior team members.
  7. Oversee ongoing maintenance of financial records.
  8. Collaborate with management to produce accurate budgets.
  9. Maintain proper cash flow and protect company reserves.
  10. Verify financial information for inconsistencies.
  11. Develop tax planning strategies aligned with current legislation.
  12. Keep company books up-to-date on a regular basis.
  13. Create essential documents for correspondence.
  14. Deliver monthly accounting tasks efficiently.
  15. Manage financial records using various accounting software.
  16. Analyse financial data using different tools and techniques.
  17. Prepare financial statements and supporting working papers in Excel.
  18. Perform year-end adjustments including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, deferred or accrued income.
  19. Prepare corporate and income tax computations.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical, communication and computer skills.
  • Understanding of financial processes.
  • Excellent English communication and presentational skills.
  • Effective organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Professional and ethical behaviour.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Chartered Accountant certification.
  • Experience working in the UK-based industry is required.
