Cybersecurity Strategist

Develop and implement robust information security governance frameworks necessary to manage risks and cybersecurity for The Children's Place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Frameworks: Establish ISO 27001:2013, SAN Top 20, and OWASP Top 10 frameworks and controls.
  • Risk Management: Manage a risk-based process for vendor risk management, assessing and treating internal customer, consultant, and service provider risks.
  • Compliance Efforts: Lead heavy responsibility on PCI and IT SOX compliance efforts.
  • IT System Hardening: Develop baseline hardening standards for IT systems across the organization.
  • Monitoring and Patch Management: Ensure all systems are monitored by SIEM and XDR, and enhance the patch management program using a risk-based approach.
  • Policies and Procedures: Periodically update policies and procedures to reflect business requirements and align with industry-leading security practices.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Participate in the development of cybersecurity awareness content.
  • Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing: Conduct periodic vulnerability scanning and penetration tests.
