About this Role:

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly.
  • Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
  • Produce monthly financial and management reports.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries.
  • Process adjustments.
  • Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing and payments.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounting Specialist.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
