About the Role

This position involves providing high-level technical support for large-scale database platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely and effective service to customers across internal and external departments.
  • Develop and implement large-scale upgrades, migrations, and transitions in a data-intensive environment.
  • Maintain security protocols for products within the portfolio.
  • Manage problem, incident, escalation, and change management processes according to ITIL standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with new database technologies and provide expertise on open-source databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in MS SQL Database Platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL Always ON and database performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with disk management, security implementation, and backup and restore methodologies.
  • Experience with database capacity management, purging, and maintenance tasks.
  • Good knowledge of Azure SQL services, including Managed Instance and Azure SQL.
  • At least 7 years of experience in database platforms support in a large-scale environment.
