Financial Operations Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Associate. As an essential member of the finance department, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, managing inventory, and supporting the organization's overall financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage company accounts and vendor relationships ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and payment vouchers with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for senior management review.
  • Verify bank statements and ensure correct recording of all financial transactions to prevent discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by collaborating with the accounting team.
  • Track production costs, implement cost-saving measures, and suggest expense reductions to optimize profitability.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock tracking, ordering, and accurate stock management to minimize waste.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks by analyzing historical data and market trends.
  • Manage supplier ledgers, e-file sales tax returns, handle advance tax payments, and coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with strong accounting skills and knowledge of financial regulations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in pharmaceuticals or manufacturing with exposure to ERP systems.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
