About the Job

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced admissions professional to lead our recruitment and admissions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, reviewing and evaluating admission applications, and providing guidance and support to prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategies: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to achieve our enrollment targets. This may include attending college fairs, conferences, and other events to represent our institution and engage with prospective students.
  2. Application Review: Review and evaluate admission applications, essays, transcripts, and other supporting documents. Make informed decisions regarding admission offers based on our institution's criteria.
  3. Counseling and Support: Provide guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the admission process. Address inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  4. Interviews: Conduct structured interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability for our programs. Communicate our institution's values and benefits effectively to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  5. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of applicant information, decisions, and communication interactions using our admissions software and databases.
  6. Event Planning: Assist in organizing and hosting admission events, including open houses, campus tours, and information sessions. Coordinate logistics, marketing materials, and event communications.
  7. Reporting: Generate reports and analyze data to track admission trends, yield rates, and other relevant metrics. Use this information to inform admission strategies and optimize recruitment efforts.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Previous experience in admissions or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of admission software and databases is an advantage.
