Quality Assurance Director

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our quality control processes meet the highest standards.
- Review and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance plans, including hazard analyses, critical control points, and preventive measures.
- Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes, measuring production, and documenting evidence.
- Maintain and improve product quality by completing audits, investigating customer complaints, and collaborating with other members of management to develop new product designs and manufacturing methods.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in quality management by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Direct and control manufacturing quality, reviewing product quality requirements for individual clients and projects.
- Manage and control all quality control activities in accordance with identified Quality Assurance standards, company procedures, client specifications, and contract requirements.
- Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews.
- Meet quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing an annual budget, and scheduling expenditures.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biology, or engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, including ISO 9001.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
