Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Software Developer to fill this challenging role.

About the Job

This position requires a developer who can design, develop, deploy, and maintain API proxies using Apigee Hybrid and Apigee X.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement API proxies, shared flows, and custom policies using JavaScript.
  • Evaluate and ensure secure communication using OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, OKTA, and Basic Auth.
  • Manage API versioning, developer portals, and apply API governance best practices.
  • Demonstrate understanding of cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) and Kubernetes.
  • Implement traffic management, quotas, and caching strategies using Apigee policies.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup for API deployments using GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor API performance and apply tuning where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Possess 3+ years of relevant IT experience with a strong background in full-stack application development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Have 1+ year of experience with data structures, algorithms, and data stores.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Demonstrate 4-6 years in API development and management.
  • Show hands-on experience with Apigee Hybrid or Apigee X.
  • Display expertise in REST API standards and design.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in OAuth2, JWT, TLS/mTLS, and traffic management policies.
  • Show good understanding of Kubernetes, YAML, Helm.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP).
Skill Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams globally, sometimes during early morning or evening hours.
