As a Server Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of servers, networks, and related systems to meet business requirements. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of server infrastructure. This includes installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks. Regular monitoring of servers is also an essential part of this role. Furthermore, you will ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure by monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to requirements. In addition, troubleshooting issues and outages is a key aspect of this position. You will identify system requirements and install upgrades as needed. Maintaining, securing, and upgrading web systems is also a critical responsibility. Moreover, creating and monitoring backups and safeguarding data are vital tasks. Performing account setup for new and old employees is another important duty. Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and implementing them in the organization is also necessary. Managing network servers and technology tools is a significant aspect of this role. Setting up accounts and workstations is another task that requires attention. Ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls is also essential. Upgrading systems with new releases and models is a key responsibility. Developing expertise to train staff on new technologies is also required. Building an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies is a valuable contribution.
