Experience matters when hiring for a Senior Backend Developer. As such, we seek an individual with at least 5 years of professional software development experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and designing complex features and systems requires expertise in scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Building and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices is key to supporting frontend and mobile applications.
  • Maintaining high code quality through best practices like CI/CD, code reviews, and secure coding standards ensures our success.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Rust.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: Java (Spring Boot), Node.js / Express, .Net / .Net core.
  • Solid understanding of systems-level concepts, async programming, memory safety, and performance optimization is crucial.
  • Proven experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs is essential.
  • Familiarity with front-end and mobile languages like React, React Native, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience building microservices or RESTful API, WebAssembly apps is valuable.
  • Tech stack & Tools: Rust (Actix, Axum, Rocket, Tokio), SQLx, SeaORM, Serde, Clap, Reqwest.
  • Experience with Git, Containerization, and CICD pipelines.
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform and its services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process from design to deployment.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL database and experience with database optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • MS/BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, perceptiveness, and patience.
  • Independence, accountability for assigned tasks, and effective time management.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
