UI Developer Role

About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned UI developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and SCSS.

The selected individual will be responsible for creating responsive, mobile-first UIs that cater to diverse user needs. They will also structure and maintain SCSS architecture with clear file organization, reusable components, and naming conventions (BEM, SMACSS, OOCSS).

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will write clean, scalable, and maintainable stylesheets that support large applications. They will optimize CSS/SCSS for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and scalability.

Collaboration with backend developers is crucial for smooth API integrations. The chosen candidate will debug and refactor existing CSS/SCSS to improve maintainability and contribute to UI component libraries.

They will stay up-to-date with the latest front-end best practices and introduce improvements. Supporting junior developers through guidance and code reviews is also essential.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional experience in frontend development
  • Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and SCSS
  • Deep understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Familiarity with CSS methodologies (BEM, SMACSS, OOCSS)
  • Proficient in SCSS organization (partials, mixins, variables, functions)
  • Strong debugging and cross-browser testing skills
  • Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Gulp) and version control (Git)
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for UI
  • Good collaboration skills with backend teams and QA
  • (Nice to have) Exposure to modern frameworks (Vue, React, Angular) for UI integration
